Opera Studio

All singers will perform in fully staged operas, with orchestra, of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Le Nozze di Figaro, at the historic Estates Theatre. Other opportunities include opera scenes from Nedbal, Monteverdi, Janáček, Smetana, Bodorová and Dvořák etc. and a cabaret performance.

Participants will have the opportunity to perform in world-class venues and some of Europe’s most historic halls, including Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Le Nozze di Figaro in the Estates Theatre, where Don Giovanni premiered in 1787. The opera scenes performance is a cherished highlight of the town of Tábor’s summer concert season.

All singers in the program will have voice lessons and coachings with the Prague Summer Nights faculty and will have opportunities to participate in masterclasses offered by esteemed visiting guest faculty. Singers will participate in staging rehearsals, performance preparation and receive diction coaching.

Prague Summer Nights has offered an international platform for career development opportunities and networking for young musicians since 2015.
