Coaching

Coaching apprentices will work on fully staged productions of Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni, collaborate and perform on a fully staged opera scenes program, which will include scenes from Czech operas such as Rusalka and The Bartered Bride, and perform in the cabaret of works from the American songbook and Broadway.  Apprentices will work closely with Prague Summer Nights coaching and conducting faculty, as well as coaches from the Czech National Theater on diction, language, performance practice and style. Apprentice coaches will serve as répétiteurs, playing for voice lessons, staging rehearsals and coachings, and will be observed and mentored by our faculty coaches and conductors, who will provide feedback and direction in private lessons and coachings.  Apprentices will observe and participate in coachings for singers by our coaching faculty and will also have mentoring sessions to discuss career development including resume building, social media, networking, score and audition preparation.
