Stage Directing
Stage directing apprentices work as assistant directors on fully staged opera productions with orchestra, mentored by the renowned faculty of Prague Summer Nights. Apprentices may have the opportunity to direct a scene from these operas. Directing apprentices will direct several scenes on a fully staged opera scenes program, which will include sections from important Czech operas such as Rusalka and Prodaná nevěsta (The Bartered Bride), among others. Directors will receive HD recordings of all performances.

Learn about the rehearsal process and manage the rehearsal room

Work through the entire production process of a fully staged opera from start to finish
