Coaching

Assistant coaches will work on our fully staged productions of Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Mozart’s Don Giovanni with orchestra, directed and coached by PSN faculty.

All assistant coaches will serve as repetiteurs, playing for voice lessons, staging rehearsals and possibly coaching sessions, and will be observed and mentored by our faculty coaches and conductors, who will provide feedback and direction.

Assistant coaches will collaborate and perform on a fully staged opera scenes program/performance, which will include scenes from important Czech operas such as Rusalka and The Bartered Bride. They will work directly with PSN coaching faculty.

The assistant coaches will have the opportunity to accompany in the Cabaret Night with music from Broadway and The American Songbook, featuring music from composers such as Bernstein, Gershwin, Sondheim and others. The Cabaret concert will take place in a jazz club in Prague.

Accompaniment Opportunities

  • Assist in rehearsals for Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Mozart’s Don Giovanni
  • Accompany for select scenes in the opera scenes performance and the Cabaret Night
  • Serve as repetiteurs, playing for voice lessons, staging rehearsals and possibly coaching sessions
