Concertmaster, Clinician (Violin)

Returning to PSN, Dutch violinist Borika van den Booren is a first violinist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, a position she has held since 1998. She previously served as concertmaster of the Aquarius Ensemble for contemporary music and has appeared as a soloist with the Berliner Symphoniker and several other European orchestras, performing concertos by Brahms, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and Dvořák. At PSN 2026, she serves as Concertmaster for the July 4 orchestral performance in Prague’s Smetana Hall, leading the orchestra in Dvořák’s New World Symphony in a side-by-side setting with professionals from major Czech and European orchestras.
