A specialist of the highest distinction in the three worlds of opera, orchestra, and Mozart, Maestro Langrée is one of today’s most respected and sought-after conductors on the world’s leading stages.
Maestro Langrée currently serves as Director of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra-Comique in Paris, appointed by the President of France, and has led major institutions – including the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center – for over two decades, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as Music Director for more than a decade.
Langrée’s career spans the world’s great opera houses and orchestras, from the Metropolitan Opera and Vienna Staatsoper to La Scala, Royal Opera House, Berlin Philharmonic, and Vienna Philharmonic, and he has conducted more than 250 performances at Lincoln Center alone.
