Garnett Bruce

Returning to PSN 2026 as Director for Die Zauberflöte, Garnett Bruce brings distinguished experience from major opera companies worldwide. He previously directed Le Nozze di Figaro for PSN 2024. His career includes productions for Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Washington National Opera, and Dallas Opera, among others. Bruce also serves as Lecturer in Opera Studies and Stage Director at the University of Texas at Austin’s Butler School of Music, combining professional artistry with a deep commitment to teaching young singers.
