This marks an important collaboration between an iconic figure in classical music and the festival renowned for nurturing emerging talent.
Marin Alsop has made history as the first woman to lead major orchestras in the United States, South America, Austria, and Great Britain. Hailed by The New York Times as “a formidable musician and a powerful communicator,” Alsop’s visionary leadership and passion for fostering young artists have made her a global icon in classical music. Her participation in Prague Summer Nights 2025 underscores the festival’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the arts.

Now celebrating a decade of artistic achievement, Prague Summer Nights continues to provide young opera singers, instrumentalists, and conductors with unparalleled opportunities to perform in some of Central Europe’s most historic venues.
