RENOWNED CONDUCTOR MARIN ALSOP AND CLARINETIST RICARDO MORALES TO PERFORM IN PLZEŇ

An evening of Dvořák and Mozart at the Municipal Auditorium

[Pilsen, Czech Republic – March 14, 2025] – On June 28, 2025, the renowned conductor Marin Alsop and the outstanding clarinetist Ricardo Morales will perform in concert with the Prague Summer Nights Festival Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Municipal Auditorium. They will perform works by Vítězslava Kaprálová, Antonín Dvořák and W. A. Mozart. They will be joined by conductor Michelle Di Russo, a graduate of the Prague Summer Nights Young Artists program and Taki Alsop, who will perform Vítězslava Kapralová’s Suite rustica. This event will be a true celebration of musical mentoring and artistry.

Marin Alsop will lead the orchestra in Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” by Antonín Dvořák, considered one of the most popular symphonies in classical music around the world. Marin Alsop, a passionate advocate for education and mentorship in music, often stresses the importance of nurturing emerging talent.
