
Michelle Di Russo

A returning conductor at PSN, Michelle Di Russo brings dynamic artistry and a deep commitment to music education. In 2025 she was appointed Music Director of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, becoming the first woman to lead the institution. Her guest conducting credits include the San Diego Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Chicago Philharmonic, and numerous university and youth ensembles. She previously served as Associate Conductor of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and has recently worked with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and Minnesota Orchestra. At PSN 2026, she conducts the Jihlava Mahler Festival performance and leads Puccini’s Suor Angelica, serving full-time during the first half of the festival.
