Detailed Composition Program Overview

A typical day at Prague Summer Nights will include an individual lesson with an accomplished composer, or a group session/workshop for all compositions students. You will spend at least 1 block of 2.5 hours a day observing PSN program rehearsals to to learn how coaches intensively work with singers and musicians, and to see an opera or instrumental performance come to life. Enjoy lunches and dinners with festival musicians and faculty, including conductors, vocal coaches, and stage directors. You will have scheduled time with a group of assigned musicians to rehearse your works, and prepare them for performance. Take advantage of the gorgeous program setting to be inspired to compose.
